Due to the varying nature of servicing and repair work on musical instruments, and the fact that most of the work is labour based, it is difficult to give an exact pricing schedule. However we have come up with the table below which gives an approximate price range including GST

CLARINET REPAIRS : Clarinets often need various ‘tweeks’ and repairs between services. A key may have been knocked, or wet weather has swollen some pads. We are very happy to do these smaller tasks, however they are difficult to price in our price list

CLARINET SERVICING : Strip down the instrument, hand clean body oil bore (wooden instruments), clean keys, reassemble replacing worn corks, felts, and pads (maximum 3 of each), regulate mechanism and lubricate. Play test

REPAD : Strip down the instrument, remove all pads, hand clean body, oil bore (wooden instruments) hand clean keys, reassemble replacing all pads, and worn corks and felts (maximum 3 of each), regulate mechanism and lubricate. Play test

OVERHAUL : Strip down the instrument removing all pads, corks and felts, swedge keywork and refit to the body, reface tone holes, hand clean body and oil bore, clean keys, reassemble replacing all pads, corks and felts, replace tenon corks, regulate mechanism and lubricate. Play test
